ShenChang first emerged in 1963 and has become one of the leading manufacturers of transformers and testing equipment in Taiwan. It's expertise in providing high quality electric equipment to companies all over the world has solidified its reputation as a customer-oriented company and a reliable business partner.

Over the past three decades, ShenChang has demonstrated its dedication to quality and service by adapting to the growing market demand. In the wake of Taiwan's rapid economic growth, the company went beyond its electrical equipment repair service and began manufacturing its own equipment in 1971 in their newly built Tamshui factory. In 1978, the R.O.C. government rated ShenChang as a Grade A transformer manufacturer for 24KV class transformers. The company was rated Grade B in nuclear power QC programs by Taiwan Power Company (TPC) in 1989 and 1992.

Since 1986, ShenChang started to produce pad mounted,pole mounted,under ground type,resin bloc type transformers and surge arrester by assistance agreement with ABB Power T&D Co., USA
(former Westinghouse).In 1994, ShenChang was awarded certifications of ISO 9002 and ISO 9001 in 1999. During the late 1990's, ShenChang began conducting Total Quality Management (TQM) and company re-engineering internally. Since its inception, ShenChang has been quick to adapt itself to both local and world markets. The company has been able to establish its trademark as a symbol of high quality products through it's strict quality control. The passion for customer service and the relentless pursuit of excellence makes ShenChang the leading innovator of the industry.

ShenChang is continuously making contributions to the growth of the transformer and high voltage test equipment business.
Simultaneously, ShenChang has also diversified itself by expanding to meet the challenges of the new era of the economy since Taiwan's induction into the WTO. The company set up strategic alliances with partners PT. Sintra Sinarindo Elektrik in Indonesia and Daytone Electric Company in the Philippines for electrical products, mainly transformers. In 1999, ShenChang made investments in SaturnVac Technology Corp ,Taiwan, a specialist of vacuum and plasma technology. In 2000, ShenChang signed with MELEC GmbH, Germany a contract that involves a mass production and technology transfer for the patented products of Pulse DC Power Controller headed by Mr. Gunter Mark.

The manufacturing process with pulse DC power technology has superior sputtering rate and high quality thin film rate. It's a significant breakthrough for the semi-conductor, optical electronics (LCD's, touch panels), and CDR industries. Currently, ShenChang has launched the SPIK series in 3KW, 6KW, 10KW and 20KW pulse DC power controllers. The series of products have been awarded CE and FCC approvals in November, 2002.
